Greetings,

The last time I attempted to any genealogical research in Kentucky, I made
some progress, with the assistance of another researcher, Pam Howard...THEN
I GAVE UP...for a while anyway...
I am looking for the previous owners of Squire & Jane Robinson whom I
believe are my great great great grandparents. I also believe that they are
the parents of my great great grandfather Lewis/Louis Robinson.
Just to update you,
A fellow researcher found my Squire & Jane Robinson in the 1870
Census....still no sign of my great great grandfather Lewis/Louis (born
circa 1866) as being in this household....
I found your Squire Robinson living in Warren County, Kentucky in the 1870
census. It is listed as follows:
Squire Robinson, age 39, male, black, farmer, value of personal estate $100,
born Kentucky, cannot read or write, male citizen age 21 or over
Jane Robinson, age 40, female, mulatto, housekeeping, born Kentucky, cannot
read or write
Len? Skiles, age 19, male, black, works on farm, born Kentucky, cannot read
or write.

Well, the S & J Robinson, I believe, are my Squire & Jane...and the L., I
believe, is my great great grandfather Lewis/Louis Robinson. I also believe
that Squire & Jane lived in the Warren County, Kentucky area before moving
to Christian County.
