Ranaway from the subscriber on the 6th of November,2 miles from
Lebanon,Wilson County,Tenn.,a negro man named Charles,dark complexion,spare
made,about 27 years old,about 5 feet 9 or 10 inches high,and weighs about 140
pounds,writes a very good hand,and will doubtless have a pass;is a carpenter
by trade.When he left he carried his trunk with him,and has a suit of
military clothes,has lived in Memphis. I will pay the above reward for his
arrest and confinement.
