Terry:

I'm in Del City, OK (not all of it was wiped out in the May 3rd
tornado). My SLAVENS line goes like this:

John Slavens (b1723 Ireland) had ten children.
Isaiah Slavens (b6-14-1762 VA) had seventeen children between two wives
(several of Isaiah's children stayed in VA and spread from there, others
went to IN and spread from there).
Daniel G. Slavins/Slavens (b1811 KY) had ten children (migrated to IN).
George Washington Slavens (b5-19-1836 IN) had seven children (migrated
to OR where 9 of his children were born and spread from there)
Louisa Ellen Slavens (b7-22-1856 IA) married Thomas Newton Fields and
had ten children, one of whom was my grandfather (children raised in OR,
some migrated to CA, ID, NV).

In additiion to those listed above, I also have information on Reuben
Slavens family and William Stuart Slavens family who are brothers to
Isaiah Slavens mentioned above.

As you porbably know, the name is often spelled Slavin, Slavins, Slaven,
and Slavens. I use the name Slavens since that is the way my specific
line spelled it. I have even found it spelled O'Slavens. If you think
our lines connect, let me know and I will be glad to send you what I
have. I am not that computer literate so it will have to be as
Microsoft Word documents or I can send it to you via snail mail.
