METAMORA, Ind. -- The Rev. Clarence Slaven, 76, Metamora, died Wednesday,
Sept. 1, 2004.
Born Oct. 18, 1927, in Oneida, Tenn., to John and Hettie Slaven, the World
War
II Army veteran retired from Philco-Ford, Connersville.
Survivors: wife, Goldie; son, Harold Slaven; daughters, Sharon Richardson,
Cathy Thomas, Denice Kaiser; stepdaughters, Peggy Conn, Patty Siedling;
stepsons, Douglas, Donald, David Bennett; sister, Cordelia Black; brother,
Mitchell Slaven.
His first wife, Clara 'Jean' Smith Slaven, is deceased.
Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Brookville (Ind.) Christian Center. Visitation:
4-8
p.m. Monday, Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, Brookville.
Memorials may be made to the Brookville Christian Center.
