My name is Ismail Sloan, but my name at birth was Sam Sloan.
I changed my name from Sam to Ismail when I was living in the Middle East
more than twenty years ago. I got married to a woman from Pakistan there
whose name was Honzagool. She was a tribal girl from Chitral, which is in
the extreme NorthWest of Pakistan.
However, when our baby was nine months old, she went back to Pakistan for
what was supposed to be a two week visit, and never returned. As she had
left the baby with me, I had to raise her up on my own, which I did until
she was almost nine years old, when she was kidnapped by members of the
Falwell Group and taken to Lynchburg Virginia.
I never heard from my daughter again, until ten years later when she turned
18, joined the Marines and started writing me letters. She wrote me three
letters yesterday.
