Frederick Sloop (Schlupe) who was the son of Benjamin & Barbara Schlupe died on August 13, 1868. He had a wife name Margaretha with three children. He did not serve in any service. He is my gg-grandfather.

He did have a son named Frederick C.(Junior) who was born about 1864/65. However since he was born the year you have discharge papers for I don't think he is it either.
