I am looking for the parents of Charles Smallwood b. 1815 in Eastern VA,
m. Mary "Polly" Giles and appeared in 1850 1860 1870 census in Taylor
Co. WV, (once Monongalia, VA) Also marriage record in Taylor Co., to
Margaret Vincent in 1856.
Sons: Charles F., James, Silas William, John Henry from marriange to
Polly. Article in "A History of Taylor County" says he came from East
Augusta ca. 1845-50. Could this Charles be the son of Charles and
Barbara?
