I need a favor from y'all. Can those of you who are researching Smallwoods
out of Tennessee be kind enough to tell me the locations within TN that you
are researching. This is probably a wild goose chase, but I have got to
start where they mostly resided. Thanks for the help!

Okay, it doesn't look like anyone can help me out with my Earvin Van Buren
Smallwood of Walker Co., AL. So I thought I would add a few other names to
see if anything sounds familiar to anyone.

There is a possibility that EVB was a brother to a John Smallwood out of TN
born 1790, married a Catherine Hutto Earnest. Children: Sarah, Samuel,
Chyle M., George, Thorge and Thomas.

There is rumor that EVB came out of Illinois and a possibility that he came
out of GA. If the above John is not his brother he may very well be an
uncle to EVB.

I have reached the end of my research on this line and could use any
suggestions at all that sounds anything remotely to my line. At this point,
I don't know where to start checking outside the state of Alabama. I have
done all the damage I can do. I need some experienced advice.
