I am trying to find information on my GG grandfather,
Jacob Francis Smith and his parents who I belive are
Aloysius Matthew and Mary.

Jacob was born on 6 Jan 1853 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny,
PA. He married Alice Jane Adams in 1881 in Iowa and
died in MN in 1933.

Jacob and Alice had the following three children:
1) Ray Smith
2) Claudie Ray Smith b. 1891
3) Mary Smith b. 1882

Jacob's father was Aloysius Matthew Smith(or Alvine or
Aloise). This information was obtained in a family
bible. I'm not sure where he was born possibly in
Germany.

Jacob's mother was Mary Baker (or Bauer, Bower, or
Berger. I'm not sure what her last name is exactly.
I believe her or her family was from Konwil
(konwiler), Wurtenberg, Germany.

I believe that Aloysius and Mary had the following
children:

1) Jacob Francis b. 1853 Pittsburgh, Allegheny, PA sp.
Alice Jane Adams
2) John b. 1856
3) George Fredrick b. 1860 Pittsburgh, Allegheny, PA
sp. Bachelor
4) Fred b. 1860 sp. Blanch
5) Aloise sp. Alice
6) Magdalena "Lena" sp. Edward Krah
7) Hannah sp. John Bittner
8) Gertrude b. 1863 Pittsburgh, Allegheny, PA sp.
Edward Krah

My grandmother traveled to St. Mary's Church and found
a baptism record for George (third child), which is
where we found Mary's name.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. My
grandmother tried to find this missing link and now I
am trying to complete this in her memory. Thank you
