Hi List,

Looking for anyone researching SMITH line orginating in the Phillipsburg NJ
and Easton PA area around 1865 and up time frame.

Theodore Jackson SMITH m. Julia PARKER around the last year of civil war,
1865, they had children:

SMITH, Emma J (Jennie) b. abt 1865 who married Albert VANEKEN (Vaneighten,
Vaneicken, etc)
SMITH, Willard b. abt 1869
SMITH, George G. b. April 1872 d. Aug 18 1941 in Graceland (Poorhouse)
Northampton, PA, buried Phillipsburg, NJ, he died single
SMITH, Sarah E b. abt 1875
SMITH, Walter b. abt 1880
SMITH, Julia S. b. Apr 1882

Julia (Parker) SMITH then married George S. PIATT after 1882/83, they lived
in Phillipsburg NJ from 1890 to 1920, they both died in the 1930's and are
buried in Phillipsburg, NJ although they lived in Easton PA in 1930 census.


I have much info on Theodore J SMITH and could possibly help someones
brickwall with this info as the man had three aka's, three wives and was
probably a bigomist. I am a gg-grandchild of his third wife from MI.
