These are our families! Our heritage! I understand that there should be
some minimal charge since it does cost them to operate and provide the
information for us, but their prices are outrageous.

I think I'm going back to the old fashioned way: LDS church. Thank
goodness for generous people who offer to do look ups and Roots Web.
Ancestry seems to have bought out all the smaller genealogy sites. Does
anyone know of a site like Ancestry that charges less?

I don't mind paying... just not that much!
