Clifford Leon SMITH
b. 16 Aug 1915 second child of Omar E. SMITH & Elizabeth "Bessie" V. SNIPES in Portland, OR.
his mother died when he was 12 then he moved to The Dalles, OR to be raised by his Aunt Jeanette (SNIPES) MARTIN
when Cifford was 17 his father remarried and Clifford moved back to Portland, OR.
1934 he graduated from Benson High School - Portland, OR.
m. 25 Aug 1940 to Margaret "Polly" ALLEN in The Dalles, OR.
he served during World War II.
d. 14 May 2006 - local hospital (The Dalles, OR., I assume)
he is survived by
dau. Elaine SIMPSON
son - Douglas SMITH of Vancouver, WA.
he was preceded in death by his wife "Polly" and his sister Ramona MORROW

I wonder if anyone has an Omar E. SMITH for which they are looking?

Not a relative of mine that I know of.
