Seems my inquiry did not come through. I looked to see what I sent out, but could not find anything?? My PA Smith is only a whisp of a possibility. As the story goes the father of my great grandfather is John Smith born 09 Jan 1796 in PA (heaven knows where or who his family was) d. 09 Oct 1848 in Greenup Co KY and is buried in the old Barrett cemetery of Carter Co. His wife was Mahalea Virgin Smith b 19 Feb 1800 in KY died 05 Mar 1856. She is buried in Dupuy, Gray, Greenslate Cemetery in Greenup Co., KY I keep telling the story hoping a crack will open in my brick wall. There is also a rumor he killed a man and was jailed for some time. Do you have any hints or thoughts?
