Hi all,

I have some City Directory information from Nashville that my
grandmother, at age 12,
was working in the TN Mfg. Co. in Nashville.

Her sister, age 16, also worked there.

I know that the child labor laws came much, much later, but I just
wondered if age 12 would have been possible at that time. 1883.
