Hi Liz, I would love to share, but don't think our Smith or our Burnett lines
connect. The farthest back I have my Smith Line proven is just before the Civil war
in Walker Co., GA and they had migrated to Randolph Co., AR by 1860 and there they
stayed. My Burnett line migrated from Scotland in the early 1800's to Quebec Canada.
They stayed there at least two generations and then migrated to NY, NY and then on to
Oakland, CA.

You might want to send out some information to this list on your Texas Smiths, you
never know who might connect with you.
