My Smith line starts with William I. Smith m. Martha Prescott. their
children: Mary M. Smith b. 1851, Henry L.Smith born 1853, Aviar Smith born
1855, Elder Smith born 1857, William A.Smith(my great grandfather(born 1861,
Martha Smith born 1864, Sarah Smith born 1866, Rosie Smith born 1869, Laura
Smith born 1874. William Andrew Smith married Mary Ann George in 1884 in
Woodville Texas. Mary Ann and William Andrew Smith were the parents of my
Grandmother Alma Elberta Smith. William and Mary Ann moved to Oklahoma in
or around 1908. Somewhere i have a book telling where William L.Smith and
Martha Prescott were born. just cannot find it now. if anyone is interested
in that information i will find the book. These Smiths are connected to the
Wheat, George and Fletcher lines of Woodville, Tyler County Texas. Carlene
