</bold>1) Came to Texas in 1839 with her mother and her step father
James Boyce. She lived with them on Gill Islands creek near to Manor
until she married Joseph Barnhart. She had an established home in
Travis county since 1841 for nearly sixty six years. She then went to
Childress to be with Hattie Rush (her eldest daughter?) and James
Monroe Barnhart and Theo Barnhart. She was to later (after a couple of
months) to move on the the farm of John S. Barnhart at Batesville in
Zavala county.[5][6]
