Looking for info on the parents of Saul Layton Smith, b. 1869 in
Marysville NB. Saul married Bertha Maude Brown, also of New Brunswick.
Saul's death records show his father as Elisha Smith, NB native and his
mother as ? Nesbitt, also a NB native. I have located an Elisha Smith
on Lovell's 1871 book on-line, which showed him as a farmer in Hampton
parish, NB (but I don't know if this is my Elisha). I don't know any
more about this Smith line of mine, but hope that somebody out there has
heard of these people. Thanks.
