My great grandfather William W. Smith Born 11 Oct 1834 in New York
(Courtland Co.) and died 21 March 1895 in Duplain Twp., Clinton Co., MI.
William served with Company B 95 Regiment, Mich Inft. He enrolled on the
12 day of August 1861 at Niles
MI. William aslo was with Co.A, 6 Reg't, MI, he enrolled here January
5,1864.
