Dear Researchers:

I am trying to find the place of death and burial place of ancestors who
lived in Rockingham Co, Va in the late 1700's and early 1800's. I am
interested in cause of death and how they died. Rumors or family "talk"
is acceptable. From legends/rumors come clues.

Christian SITES - died Aug 1828 - Rockingham Co, VA (?)

Elizabeth REIMEL , died after 1807 -Rockingham Co, VA (?)
(wife of Christian Sites)

Christian SITES - died approximately 1884 - (?), VA
(daughter of Christian & Elizabeth SITES)
(married to William (B) SMITH)

John SMITH - killed 10 Mar 1847 - Rockingham Co, VA (about age 30)
A clue I have heard was that he was ambushed. . True? If so, why?
(son of Christina & William SMITH )
(marr. to Mary Ann BUCHANAN)
(She was marr (2) Jacob DEITRICK)

Wendell SITES - died abt Mar 1786, Rockingham Co, VA (?)
Johannah (Hannah) SIPE - died aft 1797 - Rockingham Co, VA
(parents of Christian SITES0

Phillip REIMEL (RYMAL) - died abt 1807, Rockingham Co, VA
Anna Catherine __?__ - died by 1798, ?
(parents of Elizabeth REIMEL)

If you have any ideas or proof, or are connected to any of these
families, I would be more than pleased to hear from you.
