I posted for information about these smiths I am looking for not to long
ago but I have some new information that maybe someone may now help me in my
search. I am looking for information for a John Smith
and Edith L Smith they would have lived in Gilmanton Ironworks, near
Laconia NH. They had a daughter named Helen Smith she was born in Gilmanton
Ironworks Jun 16 l902. She married a John Langdon Leavitt. Her family may
have had native american blood. In the family bible it also mentions Native
american blood but does not mention the tribe. If any one as any information
or knows how I could find it please let me know. Thank you in advance
