Dear (Grandma/Aunt/Brother/Cousin),Family history is sort of what's prompting
this letter. I am trying to put together a family cookbook. The goal is to
have it assembled for Christmas, so I can give them as gifts. What I would
really appreciate from you is recipes. ANY recipes, not just special occasion
recipes. Anything you remember someone making that you loved, things that you
love to make yourself, that sort of thing. If it's a recipe you got from
someone else, please tell me who that family member is. I'm trying to make
this personal -- "Aunt Shirley's Noodles," for instance. Also, if you have any
stories you want to share about special recipes, dinners you can remember as
being extra-special, cooking triumphs or disasters... anything like that. This
is a special and important project for me, and I hope you will contribute to
it. You'll get a copy, of course! If at all possible, I'd like to have the
recipes by the end of November, so I can get it all put together by
Christmas. You can write them out, photocopy them, email them... whatever's
easiest; I don't want this to be a burden on the people I am asking to assist
me. You have my address, but in case it's not handy:(my address, and email
address)I really appreciate anything you can send me. Thanks in advance! Love,
Peggy
