Hi , trying to find out if he is the brother to my James C. Smith b. 1842
Al. His father was C. Smith b. 1793 NC wife unknown . James C. Smith md: Ann
Brown in Ellis Co. , Tx. 1861 . Haven't a clue as to what the C. stands for
yet .

Both J.W. Smith and James C. are on the 1870 Bosque Co. , Tx. census . So
I'm going strictly by the knowledge that J.C. Smith is supposed to have a
brother named John and that they were both in 1870 Bosque Co.
J.W. Smith was in HH# 365
James C. Smith was in HH# 798
