I am new to the list and I am researching my children's ancestors and
Rachel S. who married Daniel HURD appears to be my children's 7th ggm.

There are several db's on Ancestry World Tree that indicate that Rachel was
the daughter of John S. and Rachel BLANCHARD. However, the Blanchard's do
not have information on her - their data only shows three sons of John S.
and Rachel Blanchard. Because Rachel, b. ~1701 or ~1703 is not a Blanchard
by surname, they do not have any further information about any other
children of John S. who married Rachel Blanchard. This is not a problem,
but...

I am left with a few questions:

1. Was Rachel S. b. ~1701 or ~1703 (in either Charlestown, Mass., or
Killingworth, Conn.) the daughter of John S. and Rachel Blanchard?

2. Was she born in Charlestown or Killingworth and does anyone know which
year is correct for her birth?

3. Is there a definitive resource that I can access either in print or
electronic form that would help me document this information?
