I'm looking for any information on Alvin Smith and his family. He was born Feb 1852 in Arkansas, but moved to Texas. He married Mary Ellen Vales- born 1854 in Texas. They lived in Collin Co, Texas, possible cloes to Pilot Point, Denton Co, Texas. They had 6 children, Ellen or Luella. Cora, Elizabeth "Bettie", John Williams, David Claud, Mary Belvie. I think that Williams and Lockwood are important surnames to this family as some of the children and grandchildren carry the names. Any information will be very helpful.
