I have a transcribed copy of the will petition of Johannes "Joseph" Kring, who died 13 Feb 1837 in Oppenheim, Montgomery Co., NY, leaving his wife, Anna, a widow. Executor stated as John Nellis Shuvette. Date on this document is 25 Feb 1837.

Joseph's sister, Mary, was the wife of Peter A. SNELL.

This is not the actual will, but rather a petition to the surrogate court that details living heirs to the estate. Joseph died without issue. Heirs are wife, siblings, and grandchildren. Surnames involved are listed above.

I will share this document with anyone with NY state SNELL ancestry. Please do not post a reply here, but rather e-mail me privately.
