I am looking for an obituary for my great grandmother Catherine Elizabeth
(also seen it as Elix) Duffy Conner, born approx 1867 in County Mayo,
Ireland, immigrated August 1887 through Halifax, Nova Scotia as an orphan &
"domestic" with age listed as 17 at that time, married Cash J Conner in ? at ?. Died
October 19, 1898 in Los Angeles, California at 442 - So. Avenue 20, Ward 1 of
tuberculosis. Buried October 21, 1898 under the name Catherine O'Connor (per
death certificate & cemetery document) in Lot #391, grave 8, section B at New
Calvary Cemetery & Mausoleum, 4302 Whittier Blvd, Los Angeles, Calif. by
Cussen & Co. Undertakers of 218 S. Main St., Los Angeles, Calif. thank you in
advance for anything you might be able to find.
