I'm looking for connections to the Soffel family. My familty story is that
Maria Soffel brought three sons to America from Germany before 1860. They
lived in New York City. Charles Soffel was a tailor in Hicksville, Long
Island. Another brother was a lobsterman in NJ, maybe. We now have a large
Soffel family in the west. I would like to hear from anyone with a
connection to the Soffels.
