Can anyone tell me what "K N" might mean in the following context? My
ancestor George Thatcher is shown as K N against place on birth in the 1851
census. He had died before 1861 and the 1841 census only gives him as
"born in county (Middlesex)".
I've have checked King's Norton (no luck and unlikely) and wonder if it
might be Known Not! I've heard of "Not Known" but is K N the same?
