Chris Bloomfield and Derrick Porter have made some useful comments on
receiving mail etc. but may I add my pennyworth. Ozwin is the OLR,
((O)ff(L)ine (R)eader),that you can add onto your usual Compuserve usage.
Just GO OZWIN from within the Compuserve browser and it will take you to
the forum.

Once there, you can ask away to your hearts content of course and even
download it for a 30 day free trial.

That's a lot of messages! Ozwin is a tad expensive, but it saves it's cost
many times over.
In my experience it will,once connected, download some 20 messages of
varing length in less than 2 mins.
