As one born on the other side of the Pennines (albeit with Bradford
ancestry), I have to admit that this is a pearl amongst museums,
depicting many aspects of earlier 20th century life. If you're
interested in the industrial development of the worsted industry, this
is the place to go, and their collection of Jowett cars is outstanding.
Just to look at a Jowett Javelin today makes so many modern vehicles
seem as if they were designed by a committee in the Soviet Union...
