I am not a member of this sub-committee so have no axe to grind.
However, there seems little point in having a sub-committee of people
who know what they are talking about if we then all go off and try to
tell them how to do the job!

Where family trees are submitted the facility to move between sources
and the events that are recorded in them is intrinsic to the GEDCOM 5.5
standard, that the Library will accept. If you need to have data in HTML
format, the option will always be there for you to access data in GEDCOM
and convert it yourself to your favoured viewing format.

The 3 standards that Jeanne is proposing are clearly for different types
of data. RTF for transcripts of documents, narrative files, etc. DBF for
structured tabular data. GEDCOM for lineage linked family data.
