Thank you very much for your answers to my problem with new 2000 dates in my
Generations programme.

I have solved the problem but don't know how !!

After two more attempts I decided to try changing another card - this worked
fine. I then returned to the original card and it worked. (Perhaps Uncle
Brin's ghost had his finger on my shoulder :-) I shouldn't smile but this
would probably have tickled him.

Anyway, it's working fine now and thank you to everybody who answered with
ideas - both on and off the list.
