Depends why you belong. For obvious reasons (see below) I do not visit the SOG
on a weekly or monthly basis, but I am glad to know that it is there. If I had
to pay a few pence per week to keep the British Museum or the Victoria &
Albert up and running, then it would be money well spent. When I was young lad
and lived in London I spent many hours in these places, and they formed a very
important part of my education. I am more than happy to give any other child
that opportunity. Same with the SOG - it's a place of learning and knowledge
and if I never get there again I am happy to support it.
