What principle of free access?
Open access I agree with, the records shold be open for access. But as
with wills and birth, marriage and death certificates, access has never
(to my knowledge) been free.
Further I do not see why our resident taxpayer should support all this.
There are better things to spend taxes on, not to mention the need to
keep them low.
