The Tate Gallery has a large number of images of its holdings freely
viewable from its website. Great if, like me, you are pretentious enough
to be interested in art. They even had a portrait of my 4 * gt
grandfather, William Drake, that I downloaded.

Handy hint: If you find a link to an image file or an Acrobat document
on a web page and you want to save that file to disk, just right click on
the link and choose the Save as... or Save target item from the popup
menu that appears. There is nothing more frustrating than viewing an
Acrobat document online only to find that the embedded Acrobat Reader
won't let you save it. So hit the Back button on your browser, then
right click on the link.
