Nothing odd about beeskepmaker, since beeskeps are bee hives.
Or do you mean that Beehive Maker was transcribed as
beeskepmaker?
If so, it is a very interesting bit of colloquial transcription,
and here we are
being told that the transcribers were limited in that area!
