Oh yes, I forgot, will you please volunteer to process 1000 people in 2 hours in May and do their badges. Please get into the real world of running an event, Hugh, as the SoG tries to keep costs down.

Frank Hardy

P.S I think Hugh was also mumbling in his beard a few days ago about not being invited to a barbeque - well only a few people were invited (and I was not one of them) as it was a private event run by someone for a few of their friends. The rest of us from the SoG had a pre-booked evening meal at a set time in a busy restaurant, which was done to save the Society money.

<<<<<<<< exactly what I meant by a banana republic with petty officials strutting their stuff
All chiefs and not enough indians.
As a volunteer I felt used not welcomed - I am a paid up member too.
I was tempted to propose the disolution of SoG .. if it is so badly run . . . and in debt too according to rumour.

May be I should ask the Charity Commisionners or IR for the accounts . ..
don't worry I have better things to do with the remaining days of my life.
I was *that* angry
