Hi Geoff,
I know this is not a new proposal, but is there any chance of brief
bullet points being made available for those of us who cannot make it. It was
useful to me at Stoneleigh to talk to others having similar 'issues' with
1901, knowing it was not just me!

underscore in place of a letter and an asterisk when there could be several
endings to the surname.<<

several users report useful help by telephone
for example:- a piece folio page reference being paidly found for an institution which implies the help desk has more advanced search facilities than available to the public

They used to be helpful buy email but I think they have received are over 100 000 and no longer reply.
