THE SOCIETY OF GENEALOGISTS ENTERPRISES LTD. BOOKSHOP.

It is with great regret that we have to announce, with immediate effect,
the closure of the Bookshop.

Over the past four years we have put a great deal of time and money into
the development of the Bookshop, and its on-line version. The Bookshop has
failed to meet the targets that were set for it, and this combined with
ever increasing competition has led us to make this disappointing decision.

The Society is of course well known for its publishing programme, both the
commissioning of new books and their printing. This activity is not
affected by the closure of the Bookshop. We will be releasing a number of
new titles in the very near future.

All Society publications will continue to be available to both Members of
the Society, as well as Trade Buyers and Family History Societies. The
online bookshop will be changed to be a Members' Orderline.

The closure will also not affect the Societys travelling bookstall, which
this year will be present at over 30 Family History Fairs across the whole
of the country.
