It seems the closure of the bookshop is inevitable.

I'm sorry but I haven't helped, I haven't bought a book there for some time
but I haven't taken my trade elsewhere either. I can't volunteer, I'm too
busy as a volunteer in another society. However I do feel slightly done by in
not knowing of the closure before it happened. I am coming to the society
tomorrow (Saturday) and was proposing to buy a book, assuming it was in
stock. Ah well! I've lost my 10% discount.
