Proposals for getting books from the Library onto CD's are under very active
consideration as part of the business plan being drawn up. I have expressed
a wish that items from the draft business plan that generate income should
be fast-tracked and I would hope that this project will be one of those
included.

Certain things need to be done before CD's start rolling off the presses:-

1 - reach a formal agreement with somebody to do the scanning and production
2 - check that no-one else is planning to publish similar material
3 - check for any copyright problems.

All these take a finite amount of time, and need people to do certain
things - there are only a few people available at the Society to do these
tasks.
