Various people have made a number of suggestions on this list about getting
someone to run a genealogical bookshop.

Why did our bookshop have to close? Put very simply, despite having many UK
publications on genealogy, there were not enough people buying books. I
seriously doubt if any bookshop that offered over the counter and on-line
facilities would pay its way if the cost of floor space and staff were to be
paid in full.
