I am thinking of buying the 1841 Census on CD for Lancashire. There are two
companies offering it, S&N and Stepping Stones. Does anyone have any
experience of using a CD version of the census? I found some pages of the
microfilm version at the FRC hard to read, but not as bad as some 1851 images.
