and I think too many are gripped by this english fear of being seen -
UK has the worst functioning web telephone books i have ever seen - no
global searches allowed
The Danish wwww.krak.dk even picks up middle names or if you put a phone
number in you get its owner.
while freebmd is delightful with its finesses, the same base on
ancestry.co.uk allows silly searches and is much much faster
on the 1891 site if you search Isle of Man with no names it does not
throw an error at you but returns how many names in that part of the index
