AOL's treatment of mail appears to vary. I have set an option only to allow
'rootsweb.com' mailings on the above E-mail address. This worked quite well for
ages until the end of last year. Since then various SOG digests have not
arrived while two MacKENZIE digests seem to arrive OK. But I haven't seen anything
of the EoLFHS list since before Christmas!

I've had other AOL problems whereby they keep disconnecting me. With a couple
of exceptions this month I've rarely been allowed to stay connected for
enough time simply to read my E-mails and download times have been ridiculously
slow. At other times the phone number is always engaged and alternative access
numbers are not longer recognised. I've had enough now and am in the process of
changing to another ISP after many years with AOL so we shall see what happens
in the future.
