I have seen remarkably little so far about the 2005 Family History Fair -
sorry (no, I am not really) - Show. Perhaps other subscribers to this list
have seen even less, in view of the lack of comment.

The date (Saturday 30th April only) is mentioned on the Society's web-site,
but I think that this is all that appears there. I understand that it will
be at the New Horticultural Hall again, with a substantial increase in the
admission fee, accompanied by a BOGOF offer.

It seems to me that Saturday has been the better of the two days for both
visitors and stallholders, and if financial constraints have caused the
time reduction the right day has been chosen. I am less confident in
working out the thinking behind the ticket pricing. Perhaps it is based on
the well-known practice of genealogists' attending record offices in pairs.
