Perhaps you have been particularly unlucky with the 1837 1861 census
Mike. I have found plenty of errors in it but have been able to
identify my own family. The good thing about 1837 is that they react
very quickly if you point out the errors AND they refund the money you
pay to see and correct their transcription. I'm a satisfied customer.
