I have Emmanuel9 (Emmanuel8, Paul7, Arnold6, Paulus5, Arnold4, Johannes3,
Reinhart2, Olulus1) 1779-1829 m Catherine Ringer 1784-a1846 (This is out of
my Custer database, a collection of gedcoms I've collected, but have not
verified)

Grandfather Paul7 1710-1783 m Sarah Martha Ball 1712-1779

It is alledged that John Custer of Somerset 1745-1812 was also a son of
Paul & Sarah Martha, but has yet to be proved to my satisfaction - I'm
still digging. John had come from Lancaster Co, is also listed as son of
Tobias of Lancaster, but Paul was from Philadelphia. There are a few other
Pauls that are cousins.

Several county histories from a hundred years ago all listed Paul Custer as
the immigrant, one identified his wife as Sarah Martha, but there are
factual errors, and I discount that one detailed bio sketch.

I've already gone thru the cemetery listing, I have about a dozen or so of
the Custer name buried there, but several more I have yet to identify.
(John and his wife are buried in Davidsville near the Kauffman Mennonite
Church).

Also I have an ancestor Mary Shoup 1794-1873 m Philip Bish in Armstrong Co,
any info on her family would be great.
