I've been reading the postings about the Brethrens of Somerset County, and
wondered if there might be any information listed anywhere pertaining to any
marriage records of my gr-gr-grandparents. From my gr-gr-grandmother's
obituary, it states:

"August 12, 1856, she was married to John Smith in the old house on the
Emanuel Berkley farm, Elder Samuel Berkley of the Church of the Brethren
performing the ceremony."

I believe the Berkleys also had a mill, and possibly this is where my
gr-gr-grandparents met.

Would your Brethren Encyclopedia have any mention of Samuel Berkley and any
records he may have kept?
